Hello and welcome to Highland Children’s Books.
Highland Children’s Books is an independently owned book selling business which has been supporting and supplying books to primary schools throughout the Highlands of Scotland for the past twenty years.
In April 2009 it was taken over by Jill Kent, who brings together her experience with children and her love of books to help students and schools select the best books to suit their needs.
The two main components of the business are Book Orders and Book Sales.
Highland Children’s Books works directly with schools providing books to order to suit the variety of needs of each school. Whether it is updating topic books, purchasing core readers, improving the selection in a library or replacing classroom books such as dictionaries, our service helps teachers and administrators make the right choices. Books can be ordered from most publishers. As an independent business we are able to advise on books of the best quality from a vast range of publishers.
Highland Children’s Books also work directly with the students. Schools can arrange to have a Book Sale held on site. Book Sales can be held on a specific day or books can be left for a few days and collected at the end of the week.
