About Jill
Jill was born and raised outside of Washington, DC in the United States. She graduated from the University of Vermont with BS ED. She was a Primary School teacher in California for six years before moving to Belize City, Belize to teach in a school for disadvantaged teenage girls. Jill met her husband in Belize and then moved to the U.K. To raise her family.
Jill and her family have lived in Inverness since 2002 and she took over Highland Children’s Books in 2009.
She uses her knowledge as a parent, teacher and booklover to personally select the best children’s books available. It is her aim to make good quality books available to all schools and students across the Highlands.
